Hello
Hi! I’m Alyssa, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Psychology as well as Southeastern University with a Masters in Social Work. I have worked in a number of settings including hospitals, nursing homes and homeless shelters. I specialize in working with young adults with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, as well as helping them to navigate through life transitions.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and truly believe that therapy is most effective when your unique needs, strengths and interests are put first. I strive to make my approach relaxed, comforting, friendly, and most importantly nonjudgmental. In our work together, we will collaborate and come up with the most useful and effective tools that will help you feel better equipped to handle all of life’s challenges. We will work as a team and I will be there for you every step of the way, supporting you as you achieve your goals.

More about me
I grew up near Clearwater, Florida, and absolutely loved being able to spend all of my time around the ocean and the sunshine. Recently, I moved to The Florida Keys, and am enjoying the small- town feel and even more time spent on the water.

I am licensed in Michigan and Pennsylvania due to strong family ties in both states. Although, I don't visit in the winter too often (Florida girl!) But, also, Go Birds!

In my spare time, you'll find me boating, fishing, or if the weather is crappy, laying on the couch reading or watching TV. I always love to connect with my clients by talking about what show they're currently watching or what book they're currently reading. We can always save a couple of minutes each session for a little book club!
